The Venezuelan diplomat stressed the necessity of strengthening the economic and trade relations between the two countries in face of the Us and Western unilateral coercive measures and other Western hostile policies against Syria and Venezuela.

Chairman of the Syrian-Venezuelan Parliamentary Friendship Committee, Imad Saab, in turn, highly appreciated the Venezuelan Late President Chavez’s stances toward Syria and his historic visit to Damascus in 2010.
