Tehran, SANA – Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir Abullahian said the Syrian army’s victories show signs that the full liberation of Aleppo city from terrorists is just around the corner.
In a statement on Friday, Abdullahian stressed that terrorists in Syria are approaching their end, a sign made evident in the strong presence of the Syrian army and popular forces and their expanded operations on different fronts.
He hailed the Syrian government’s attitude towards the “genuine opposition” which believes in a peaceful solution to the crisis, to which he said there is no alternative.
There can be no room for terrorists in the future of Syria or the region, he stressed.
