Egypt sends planes loaded with medical aid to Syria

Cairo, SANA- Egypt announced sending urgent aid to Syria to provide relief to the people affected by the devastating earthquake that hit the country on Monday at dawn, which resulted in hundreds of victims and injuries.

Egyptian Middle East News Agency stated that, under the directive of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, military planes loaded with urgent medical aid were sent to Syria.

Earlier, the Egyptian President stressed in a phone call with President Bashar al-Assad, Egypt’s solidarity with Syria and its brotherly people, and its keenness to provide aid to help the Syrian people to overcome this painful ordeal.
