National Council for Human Rights in Egypt announces standing by Syrian people in their ordeal

Cairo, SANA- National Council for Human Rights in Egypt announced its solidarity and standing by the Syrian people in their crisis caused by the earthquake hit Syria recently.

‘The council followed up the situation in the Syrian and Turkish territories caused by the earthquake hit northwest of Syria and south of Turkey causing thousands of victims, in addition to huge damage to the infrastructure and basic facilities especially in Syria which has been suffering war years ago’, the council said in a statement to SANA.

It underlined the necessity to unite efforts to provide more support and assistance in order to alleviate the suffering of Syrian and Turkish peoples.

The Council called on charitable organizations, Egyptian Crescent and International System to take their role in providing more humanitarian aid for the quake-affected

It highlighted the initiative launched by Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, through his participation in World Summit of Governments held in Dubai, in which he called for urging all countries to provide more assistance for Syrian people in that disaster.
