Qamishli intellectuals call for lifting sanctions imposed on the Syrian people

Qamishli, SANA- A group of Qamishli intellectuals staged a protest stand to call for lifting the unjust economic blockade imposed by the US occupation on the Syrian people and the expulsion of the US and Turkish occupation forces from the Syrian territory.

One of the organizers of the stand, Abdul-Aziz Hussein, called in a speech for lifting the economic sanctions imposed on the Syrian people and expelling the US and Turkish occupation forces from the Syrian territory.

In turn, Dr. Saeed al-Hamid said in a statement to SANA reporter that he participated in the protest to condemn the economic blockade imposed on Syria.

Al-Hamid noted that the blockade has exacerbated the health and humanitarian situation in Syria, calling on the WHO to intervene to save people’s lives and to reject the American arrogance aimed at achieving political goals that serves the US interests.
