Sabbagh receives letter of condolence on quake victims from Speaker of National Assembly of Tanzania

Damascus, SANA- Speaker of the People’s Assembly, Hammoudeh Sabbagh, has received a letter of solidarity and condolences from the Speaker of the National Assembly of Tanzania, Dr. Tulia Ackson.

 In her letter, Ackson, in her name and on behalf of the members of the National Assembly, and on behalf of the African geopolitical group in the Inter-Parliamentary Union, expressed solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic.

 She also extended condolences to the families of the victims of the tragedy left by the devastating earthquake that struck a number of Syrian provinces at dawn on Feb. 6th.
