British activists spray Labor HQ with red paint in protest against the war on Gaza

London, SANA- British environmental and anti-violence organizations organized a protest in front of the Labor Party’s headquarters in the center of the British capital to denounce its position on the ongoing brutal Israeli aggression on Gaza and to demand a halt to the export of weapons to the Israeli occupation entity.

Activists from the Youth Demand and Just Stop Oil environmental organizations sprayed red paint on the exterior and lobby of the Labor Party building in Southwark and chanted that “the hands of Labor Party officials are stained with blood”, the British newspaper the Telegraph reported.

The activists accused the party of complicity in killing Palestinians and supporting Israel’s continuation of genocide against the defenseless people in Gaza.

In turn, the British police arrested a number of protesters, as a London police spokesman said that 12 people were arrested on suspicion of committing criminal damage to a commercial property after demonstrators sprayed paint inside and outside the building.

Earlier, dozens of activists from the Youth Demand organization had organized a demonstration in central London, reaching Parliament Square, raising the Palestinian flag and banners condemning the brutal war on Gaza and demanding that the Conservative (ruling) and Labor (opposition) parties impose a ban on the export of weapons to Israel.
