Death toll from Hasaka car bomb attack rises to 3 civilians, others injured by mortars in Damascus

Hasaka/Damascus, SANA – The death toll from the terrorist car bomb attack which took place at the western entrance of Hasaka city on Thursday rose to three civilians, according to the Police.

The number of casualties announced earlier by a Police source was one civilian dead and 4 others injured.

The attack, which was caused by a suicide bomber, took place on the highway of al-Msheirfeh neighborhood at Hasaka city’s entrance.

Last Friday, twin terrorist bombings hit a square in central Hasaka city, claiming the lives of 37 civilians and injuring more than 96 others.

The Islamic State in Iraq and Syrian (ISIS) terrorist organization claimed responsibility for the explosions.

Meanwhile, a civilian got injured when terrorists fired two mortar shells on Umayyad Square in Damascus.

A source at Police Command told SANA that terrorists fired two mortar shells, one of them went off injuring a citizen.

Terrorists on Wednesday fired a mortar shell that landed on a roof of a house in al-Zablatani neighborhood in Damascus, causing material damage only.
