Damascus, SANA – Interior Minister Mohammad al- Shaar inspected on Friday the police units in Ariha and Jisr al-Shughour areas in Idleb Northern Province.
Al-Shaar, meeting Idleb Governor, army and police officers in the Governorate, said that defending the homeland is a holy duty, adding we are going ahead in defending our country and people against terrorism.
He clarified that the destruction and the havoc wrecked by the armed terrorist groups come in service of the Israeli entity and as an endeavor to shift the Arab-Israeli conflict into an inter- Arab conflict.
The Minister called for investing all power elements, on top, the honest people who are the strongest power of the state.
He added that one of a policeman’s responsibilities is preserving the security of citizens and organizing their basic aspects of life, in addition to defending them side by side with the army and armed Forces.
