Consular service fees for Syrians abroad set in a legislative decree

Damascus, SANA – President Bashar al-Assad issued on Tuesday a legislative decree amending Article 1 of Law no. 1 for 2014 on setting fees of consular services provided to Syrian nationals living abroad.

Based on the new legislative decree, which is numbered 17 for 2015, fees based on consular services of issuing passports and visas for Syrian nationals and those who have an equal status living outside Syria are set at USD 400.

The decree also provides that services of renewing or extending the validity of passports or visas for Syrian nationals and those who have an equal status abroad entail fees of USD 200.
