Damascus, SANA – The Narcotics Department on Monday arrested nine people in Damascus who were in possession of hashish.
The Interior Ministry said that nine people in possession of 15.25 kg of hashish were arrested, adding that a pistol and a rifle were also seized with the narcotics.
On Thursday, the authorities seized 1,700 grams of hashish and an amount of heroin packed in canned food containers that were in the possession of a woman.
