Al-Jaish beats Lebanese al-Najma 2-0 within AFC cup

Beirut, SANA-Syrian football team of al-Jaish beat its Lebanese al-Najma counterpart 2-0 in the match held on Wednesday in Sidon within the 4^th group of the Asian Football confederation Cup.

Basel Mustafa and Abdul-Latif Salkeni scored for al-Jaish at the 35^th and 84^th minutes of the game.

Al-Jaish which guaranteed its qualifying to the next round of the cup boosted its leading of the group with 14 points.

It will meet Jordanian team of al-Zajeera in the next round of the tournament on May 27^th.
