Moscow, SANA-Special representative of the Russian President, deputy Foreign Minister Michael Bogdanov discussed on Wednesday with Syria’s Ambassador in Moscow Riad Haddad the latest developments in Syria and the region.
“The two sides exchanged viewpoints on the need for providing suitable conditions to reach a political settlement in Syria through an-inter Syrian dialogue in light of Geneva communiqué of June 2012,” A statement by Russian Foreign Ministry said.
The statement added that both sides affirmed that the immediate settlement of the attitude in Syria and overcoming the crisis meet the interests if security and peace in the Middle East.
