In a conference attended by Syrian officials, Syrian Students in Moscow stress appreciation of Syria’s resistant approach

Moscow, SANA- Over the past five years, Syria has remained steadfast in the face of the terrorist conspiracy hatched against it thanks to the heroism of the Syrian Arab army and its unity with the Syrian people and leadership, Member of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party Regional Leadership and Head of the National Union of Syrian Students (NUSS), Dr. Ammar Sa’ati said Sunday during the annual conference of the NUSS Branch in Moscow.

Sa’ati presented a comprehensive view about the current situation in Syria, warning against the misleading rumors fabricated by the mass media of the terrorists and their supporters.

He underlined the keenness of al-Baath Regional Leadership on providing all the needs of the Syrian people despite of all the difficulties of the current stage.

“You are the hope of the future and you will carry the banner of the homeland which has been defended by the Syrians, who sacrificed their souls to protect it,” Syria’s Grand Mufti Ahmad Badr-Eddin Hassoun said in a speech during the conference.

Hassoun indicated to what has been said by others about that “If what was taking place in Syria occurred in any of the European countries for just a year, the regime in it would collapse,” stressing that the Syrian great and simple people, who represent a single family, are the ones who have been the victorious.

He affirmed that Syria will be victorious because who has remained resilient for five years, will remain steadfast till “Subjugating the mercenary terrorists who have come from tens of states to fight the Syrian people.”

For his part, Syria’s Ambassador in Moscow Ryiad Hadad said that Russia’s stance towards the crisis in Syria is clear and stable and it has been translated through providing all the possible aid and support in all the domains, indicating that all the parties in Russia are calling for increasing support to Syria because it is a traditional ally of Russia.
