Syria denounces Israeli terrorist crime against al-Dawabsha’s family in Nablus

Damascus, SANA- Syria denounced in the strongest terms the hideous terrorist crime committed by Israeli settlers against al-Dawabsha family in Nablus, the occupied West Bank, an official source at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said.

On July 31st, one-and-a-half year old Ali Saad al-Dawabsha was burnt to death and other members of his family were severely burnt when Israeli settlers attacked their home in the village of Duma, near Nablus in the occupied West Bank.

Ali’s father died yesterday after he succumbed to his wounds during the incident, with other family members still in a critical condition.

The source said in a statement that this crime is part of a series of crimes which Israel is committing against Palestinian people, adding that it attests to the racism of Israeli settlers.

The source also condemned Israel’s attacks against Al-Aqsa Mosque and the attempts to desecrate it by terrorist groups which are supported by Netanyahu’s government.
The source underlined Syria’s principled and firm position in supporting the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and independence on the entire Palestinian national territory with Jerusalem as capital.

Syria calls on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council and the United Nations Human Rights Council, to take all necessary measures to protect the Palestinian people, particularly children and women and to punish the Israeli government for its protection of criminals and extremists, the statement concluded.
