Damascus, SANA- The Central Bank of Syria (CBS) on Tuesday set the exchange rate of the USD at SYP 284.32 for banks and 284.41 for currency exchange companies.

The USD exchange rate for transfers was set at SYP 283.

The CBS also set the exchange rate of the EUR against the SYP at 311.85 for banks and 311.96 for currency exchange companies, while it was set at SYP 310.68 for transfers.

On Monday, the USD exchange rate was SYP 283.41 for banks and 284.42 for currency exchange companies.
