Putin during Victory Day: Terrorism is universal plague that should be defeated

Moscow, SANA – A military parade started on Monday in the Red Square in Moscow marking the 71st anniversary of Victory Day over Nazism in the Great Patriotic War.

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated of the Victory Day over Nazism, adding that it has become a holy day for each Russian family.

He clarified that this great victory is unprecedented as it forced the enemy, which controlled most of Europe, to retreat and that reflects the love the Russians have for the homeland and their pursuit to life.

The Russian President said that terrorism has become a universal plague, adding “we should defeat it…Russia is ready to cooperate with the other countries in this regard.”
