Bangkok, SANA-Syria’s Karate National team has won three silver medals within Thailand International open championship being held in Bangkok.
The three silver medals have been achieved by players Ra’afat al-Sheikh in the over-84 KG weight, Muna Shahiber in the under-61 KG weight and Khould al-Ali in the over-68 KG weight.
“The Syrian national team has been able to raise the country’s flag in this important sport assembly to tell the world that Syria is the home of civilizations and Man in spite of the terrorist war being waged on it,” Head of Karate Union Jighd Maya told SANA.
