Legal status of 120 persons in Daraa settled

Daraa, SANA- The status of 120 persons from Daraa was settled on Monday within the framework of local reconciliations in accordance with the amnesty decree No.15 for 2016.

A source in Daraa said in a statement to SANA reporter that 120 persons turned themselves in to authorities on Monday and their status was settled easily, pointing out the efforts exerted by the parties concerned, local community and members of reconciliation committees to widely achieve local reconciliations in Daraa province.

On Sunday, the status of 246 wanted persons from Daraa was settled, bringing the total number of those who have their status settled since early August up till now to 3140 persons, including wanted persons and those who fled military service from various areas in Daraa and its countryside in addition to settling the status of a number of gunmen who turned themselves in along with their arms and pledged not to get involved in any act that affects the security of the homeland.
