Medical aid convoy delivered to Aleppo city

Aleppo, SANA – The World Health Organization (WHO), in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) and with the support of Aleppo Governorate, delivered a medical aid convoy to Aleppo city meant for people in neighborhoods affected by terrorism.

Aleppo Governor Mohammad Wahid al-Aqqad who oversaw the convoy’s arrival said that a number of public hospitals and medical centers in the city are still operation and working to provide treatment and vaccines to the locals.

This convoy is part of the response plan implemented by the WHO in cooperation with the SARC and Aleppo Governorate, and it contains medicine for terminal diseases, hypertension medicine, medicine for children, and other medical supplies.
