Economy Minister discusses with Governor of Khorasan and Algeria’s Ambassador means to enhance joint cooperation

Damascus, SANA- Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Adib Mayyaleh discussed on Wednesday with Ali Reza Rashidian, Governor of Khorasan Razavi and his accompanying delegation the means and prospects to develop economic and trade cooperation.

The minister affirmed the need to take advantage of the available possibilities in the province of Khorasan Razavi to enhance cooperation and provide support and assistance through receiving the Syrian exports, opening exportation lines for the Syrian products with the neighboring states of Khorasan Razavi province.

He pointed out that facilitating the entry of Syrian exports to Iranian markets came as part of Iranian support for the Syrian economy.

For his part, Rashidian stressed the importance of the Syrian economic participation in the exhibitions which take place in Khorasan for marketing their products inside and outside the province.

The minister also discussed with the Algerian Ambassador in Damascus Saleh Bosha the means to develop cooperation relations between the two countries, mainly in activating and facilitation the common trade movement and working on increasing the flights between Syria and Algeria as well as founding a direct sea transporting line.

For his part, Bosha said that the Algerian government is keen on promoting the level of economic relations and increasing the trade exchange volume between the two countries.
