ICRC disappointed as it failed to start medical evacuation process in Aleppo

Moscow, SANA-The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) was disappointed because it failed to start the medical evacuation operations in Aleppo, affirming that it was ready to start those operations.

Terrorist organizations targeted the humanitarian corridors with a number of rocket shells to prevent the families from leaving the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo city.

Via twitter, the ICRC said that since last Thursday the ICRC and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) have been on standby in Aleppo to evacuate wounded and the sick who desperately need medical care. But sadly the evacuation process couldn’t move forward.

The ICRC expressed its very disappointed with this outcome, especially for those who need life-saving treatment as they cannot afford to wait any longer, adding that civilians have the health care right.
