Reception at Algerian Embassy in Damascus on anniversary of Algerian Liberation Revolution

Damascus, SANA – Algerian Embassy in Damascus held a reception at the Four Seasons Hotel in Damascus on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of the Algerian Liberation Revolution on November 1st, 1945.

Algerian Ambassador Saleh Bosha said in a speech at the occasion that it is everybody’s duty to support the efforts exerted to end the crisis in Syria that has undermined its security and stability.

Bosha reiterated his country’s support to Syria in fighting all forms of terrorism.

He pointed out that Syria and Algeria spare no efforts in activating bilateral cooperation in all domains, calling for solving the crisis in Syria through dialogue among all Syrians.

For his part, Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Faisal Mikdad said that the Algerian Liberation Revolution asserted the Arab identity of Algeria and defeated colonialism, noting that the colonial role of France has not changed as it still conspires against Algeria and is supporting terrorism in Syria.
