Lavrov, Kerry agree to extend experts’ consultations on settlement in Aleppo

Moscow, SANA- Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry agreed during a phone call on Monday to extend experts’ consultations regarding means of settlement in Aleppo.

Russian Foreign Ministry, said in a statement, that Lavrov stressed during the phone call that the armed groups in eastern Aleppo and the so-called ‘Local Council’ in the city refuse to cooperate in settling the situation, reminding Kerry that Washington has failed to separate opposition from terrorists in Syria.

” The Russian Aerospace Forces and Syrian Air Forces have been making no flights in that area for already four weeks” Russian Foreign ministry quoted Lavrov as saying.
