Saturday weather forecast: Skies clear to partly cloudy, rain showers expected

Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will remain from 2 to 5 degrees below average as the country is affected by a weak low air pressure accompanied by a cold and wet air mass.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and rain showers will fall over different areas across the country while snow will fall over the mountains.

At night, the weather will be cold and frost is expected over the mountains while fog is expected in some of the inland areas, particularly in the central and al-Badiya “desert” areas.

The wind will be changeable with a low speed and the sea waves will be low in height, while tomorrow there is a weak probability of rainfalls in the western areas.

Over the past 24 hours, different amounts of rainfalls were registered in different Syrian provinces as follows: 8 mm in Sweida and 20 mm in Hasaka.

The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 12/4, Daraa 14/8, Homs 6/1, Lattakia 14/6, Aleppo 8/1 and Deir Ezzor 12/6.
