New batch of humanitarian aid arrives in Hasaka via aid bridge

Hasaka, SANA – A new batch of food and non-food aid provided by the World Food Program (WFP) arrived at Qamishli Airport to Hasaka Province through the air bridge that transfers aid via Damascus International Airport.

In a statement to SANA, Director of WFP Office in Hasaka Afraa Nouh said that the non-food materials included 1942 boxes of heavy clothes for the UNICEF while the food aid includes 1820 food boxes, 1820 rice bags and 546 boxes of oil battles, pointing out that the distribution process is continuous for the displaced and needy families through charities and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC), Hasaka branch.

The humanitarian aid to Hasaka Province is continuous through the air bridge until the current January 15th, as 262 flights were made since July of the past year.
