Kazakh Foreign Ministry: Russian-Turkish-Iranian technical meeting to settle the crisis in Syria due on Feb 6th

Astana, SANA- Kazakh Foreign Ministry Spokesman Anuar Zhainakov announced on Thursday that delegations from Russia, Iran and Turkey will hold a technical meeting on February 6th about a settlement to the crisis in Syria in the Kazakh capital of Astana with the participation of a UN representative.

“We have indeed received a request for assistance in arranging an international technical meeting on the Syrian crisis among Russia, Turkey and Iran on February 6 in Astana, a UN representative is also scheduled to participate in the meeting,” Zhainakov said.

He added that as part of the upcoming event, the representatives of the three countries plan to discuss the compliance with the cessation of hostilities agreement which came into force on December 30th by the parties concerned as well as identifying different methods to be applied.
