Damascus, SANA- Minister of Awqaf (Religious Endowments) Mohammad Abdul-Sattar al-Sayyed has said that no decision can deny the history and culture of the Arab Nation, emphasizing that al-Quds (Jerusalem) is the capital of Palestine and this is remembered by history and documented by facts, realities and all heavenly sharias.
The Minister’s speech came at opening of the national intellectual dialogue forum dubbed “Citizenship, Arabism and al-Quds al-Sharif” on Monday at Damascus-based al-Assad Library.
Al-Sayyed added that the forum aims at concentrating on issues of citizenship, Arabism and al-Quds al-Sharif, particularly that the Arab people in each Arab country expresses discontent and condemnation of the US President Donald Trump’s decision on recognizing al-Quds as capital of the Israeli occupation entity.
The forum discusses issues of al-Quds al-Sharif, the battle of existence and destiny, citizenship, Arabism, al-Quds in the Islamic Sharia, the modern Islamic ideology, the modern Christian intellect, building the culture of citizenship, sanctity of al-Quds al-Sharif, Palestine and the Levant and other issues.
