Lavrov: Russian military presence in Syria came at behest of its legitimate government

Moscow, SANA- Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the Russian military presence in Syria is in accordance with the international law standards and at the request of the country’s legitimate government.

Sputnik quoted Lavrov as saying in an interview with Italian news agency Agi that “the Russian military presence in Syria came in accordance with the standards of international law and at the invitation of the legitimate authority of the country.”
