Prayers for peace held at St Antonius the Great Church in Damascus

Damascus, SANA- At the end of month-long prayers that were held under the motto of “Damascus church, the fasting and prayer for peace in Syria”, a mass and prayer ceremony was held at St Antonius, the Great Church for Greek Orthodox in Jaramana city in Damascus Countryside.

The prayers were led by Father Boutros Esber with participation of representatives of all Christian denominations in Damascus.

Father Esber affirmed that the one Syrian family will overcome the conspiracy to which the country is exposed.

He added that the country stretches the hand of mercy and compassion to its misled citizens to return to the country’s lap and practice their normal life.

Father Esber prayed for God to restore peace and security to Syria.

Churches of Damascus have called for month-long prayers, praying for God to have mercy on Syria and hoping security and stability be back to the whole country.
