Sweida, SANA_ Under the auspices of President Bashar al-Assad, the General Authority of Shahba National Hospital in Sweida province was inaugurated on Monday at a cost of more than SP 1 billion and four hundred million.
The three-storey hospital serves about 125 thousand people in the city of Shahba and its villages, with ER, internal medicine, dialysis, general surgery, ICU, radiology, and laboratory departments.
Health Minister Nizar Yazigi inspected the hospital’s department, saying that it will receive a CT scan machine and will open new departments for optometry, pediatrics, bone surgery, and more in the near future.
