Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will drop to become from 2 to 4 degrees lower than average and around average in the coastal region as the country is affected by a low air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere, accompanied by a relatively wet and cold air bloc.
Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will continue to be changeable between partly cloudy to cloudy sometimes, rain showers are expected in various areas.
The department added that heavy rain showers accompanied with thunder are expected, while the winds will be eastern to southeastern of low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures degrees in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 25/14, Daraa22/14, Homs 21/15, Lattakia30/20, Aleppo 21/13 and Deir Ezzor 32/19.
