SARC delivers a new batch of humanitarian aid to five towns in Daraa countryside

Daraa, SANA- The Syrian Arab Red Crescent- Daraa Branch on Thursday delivered 2,900 food baskets and the same number of flour baskets provided by the World Food Program (WFP) to the towns of Salmin, Zamrin, Jidyia, al-Mal and al-Taiha in Daraa northern countryside.

In a statement to SANA reporter, Head of SARC branch in Daraa, Dr. Ahmed al-Masalmeh said that this aid comes in the framework of the fourth stage of the humanitarian response which is being implemented by SARC and it targets 210 thousand families in Daraa province.

On Wednesday SARC delivered 6,100 food baskets and the same number of flour baskets to the towns of Tssil and Odwan in Daraa countryside to be later distributed among the needy families.
