Homs, SANA- Members of the civilian defense have put out a fire that erupted on Monday in forest trees and grasses on Hama-Homs road near the Silos bridge north the province.
Commander Ghayyath Akel ,the Director of the Civil Defense, told SANA that the fire was extinguished immediately because there was no traffic jam on the road ,referring that the members of the civilian defense are on alert around the clock to put out any fire there, calling on the citizens to be careful and attentive and not to throw the cigarettes or set fires.
Homs brigade and the members of the civil defense have put out a number of fires that erupted in different areas of the province.
