Temperature to rise, frost expected in northern regions

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will rise to become slightly above average in some regions while remaining around average in eastern region and al-Badia as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin, that the weather will be between clear and partly cloudy in general, and cold at night, warning of the formations of frost in northern regions and mountainous heights, and of fog in some inland areas.

The wind will be changeable to northeasterly with a low speed, and the sea waves will be moderate in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows:
Damascus 13/4, Daraa 13/4, Homs 11/0, Hasaka 11/-3, Tartous 19/9, Idleb 10/-3, Deir Ezzor 10/0.
