National Earthquake Center: 5 weak tremors monitored during the past 24 hours

Damascus, SANA -The National Earthquake Center NEC announced that 5 low-intensity earthquakes were recorded during the past 24 hours.

The center stated in a statement to SANA, that the stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network recorded, 5 earthquakes, including 3 in Turkey, with magnitudes ranging between 2.6 and 3.0 on the Richter scale, and an earthquake hit the Liwa Iskenderun coast with a magnitude of 1.6..

The center added the stations also recorded an earthquake in northwest Lattakia, 27 km, with a magnitude of 1.3.
