Damascus, SANA, Al-Wahda football team topped the Syrian local league after beating al-Wathba 1-0 in a match held on Wednesday within the fourth round.
With this result al-Wahda raised its points to 11 and came first while al-Wathba stooped at 3 points in the bottom.
In the same round, al-Jaish lost to al-Shorta 0-1 to retreat to the second place after al-Wahda.
