56 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid arrive to Qudsayya city and al-Hameh town

Damascus Countryside, SANA- As part of the government’s plan to distribute aid to those affected by the terrorist war against Syria in all areas across the country, Damascus Countryside Governorate delivered 56 trucks loaded with humanitarian and medical aid to Qudsayya city and al-Hameh town.

Member of the Executive Office of Damascus Countryside Governorate’s Council Mohamed Kheir Shams Eddin said that the relief sub-committee, in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) delivered 54 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid which includes 5000 flour bags, 5000 food packages and amounts of medicines, stationery and baby food to Qudsayya city and 2 trucks loaded with medical substances to al-Hameh town.

He affirmed that relief sub-committee will continue entering humanitarian and relief aid to beneficiaries in all the villages and the towns of the province as a part of the plan of the Syrian government and the High Relief Committee.

For his part, Mohamed al-Boshi, Chairman of Qudsayya city council pointed out that the humanitarian aid will be distributed according to the sequence of SARC lists, adding that the amounts of aid which arrived today is sufficient for all the poor and needy people in the city.
