Hazem Nao and South Korean partner reach finals at Indonesia Tennis Championships

Jakarta, SANA – Syria’s Mohammad Hazem Nao and his doubles partner Yunseong Chung of South Korea qualified for the final game of the first round within the International Junior Tennis Championships in Indonesia.

The Syrian-South Korean doubles team won over a Philippine team in the semi-finals within the Championships, held under Grade 4 category.

In the quarter-finals, Nao and Yunseong defeated an Indonesian-Vietnamese team.

If the Syrian-South Korean team wins the final game, Nao will be placed higher on the ITF Junior World Ranking list where he is now placed 406th.

In the singles competitions, Nao was out in the quarter-finals after he lost to a Japanese player.

Earlier in March, Nao took part in Uzbekistan Championship, his first international participation this year, where he made it through to the quarterfinals.
