Al-Halqi underlines government keenness on providing environment conducive to industrialists’ projects

Damascus, SANA-Prime Minister Dr. Wael al-Halqi reiterated the government’s interest in developing the industrial cities and providing the appropriate environment for industrialists to carry out their own projects.

Dr. al-Haqli stressed, during his meeting with Chairman and members of Homs Chamber of Industry, the importance of partnership between the government and the private sector in drawing up the industrial and economic national decision and devising plans that serve the comprehensive development.

He underlined the role of chambers of industry in upgrading national industries and expanding their scope in all areas, as well as manufacturing national products capable of meeting the needs of local markets and competing in foreign markets.

The Premier expressed satisfaction that life is now back to normal in Homs city and the surrounding areas, especially Hassyaa Industrial City that hosts up to “190 facilities that provide as many as 20, 000 job opportunities.”

Chairman of Homs Chamber of Industry Labib Ikhwan pointed to the government’s efforts to rehabilitate the areas to which the army has restored security and stability and to provide basic services and infrastructure in industrial areas.
